Want to serve in a location closer to home? WGM is active in a variety of ways and places within the United States. Keep reading for more information about the people and projects in these locations.

Nationwide: The Hispanic population in the United States is diverse and ever-changing. By the middle of the 21st century, one out of every four people in the States will be Hispanic. Hispanic Ministries USA focuses on leadership and pastoral training with the goal of starting Hispanic churches. Immigrant Ministries in Michigan seeks to build relationships with immigrants and refugees mainly from Bangladesh, Yemen, and Syria. Through relationships in the community, doors open to share the Good News about Christ. Out of Nazareth provides health care to poor, urban neighborhoods in Philadelphia.

Arizona/New Mexico: In the Southwest, our outreach focus is Native Americans. Through a variety of ministries, including partnering with churches in Native American communities, hospice care, education, summer Bible camps, and after-school clubs, relationships are being built and lives are being changed on the American Indian Field. For opportunities to serve on the American Indian field, click here.

California: Most children and youth who attend after-school activities at The Center in Stockton, California, come from single-parent families and many come from second- or third-generation gang families. They need to know they have choices other than gangs, drugs, and violence. Through patience, faith, and love, missionaries and volunteers are working to break this destructive cycle and bring restoration. To find your place at The Center, click here

Texas: About 60 percent of crimes in McAllen, Texas, are gang related. Taking kids out of that path and preparing them to impact their world for Christ is the focus of Texas/Mexico Border Ministries. The goal of Taylor Christian School and Taylor Community Center is to reach children and, ultimately, entire families. Join the team here!
