Ministry Description
Share your heart and Christ’s love with the young people of the community by providing safe, fun, educational, and creative activities as a way of building relationships. Work alongside our missionaries and national partners in various settings, including camps, classes, special events, and Bible studies.
Our ministry in La Esperanza is exciting. This is where our first churches were established many years ago. Home to an indigenous population called the Lenca, La Esperanza is a colorful center of art, culture and history. But the challenges of unemployment, extreme poverty, rampant alcoholism and abuse are devastating the families in this tranquil community.
We have several churches and an active theological education program serving in the area. Our focus is helping them connect and build relationships with young people and their families. We use outside-the-box ministry initiatives to provide opportunities for learning, creativity and unique experience to instill a biblical worldview in the hearts of a new generation of Honduran leaders.
