North America: Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) Internship
Description
Teach adults from beginner to advanced levels in a group or one-on-one setting. The teaching setting may be formal or informal. Teachers will have to prepare their own lessons to include speaking, reading, and writing English and present material in a manner that will advance students of various levels. Teachers may teach solo or as part of a team.
Opportunity
Teaching English opens up opportunities to build relationships with those in the community and to share about Jesus. In addition, it will be possible to minister while remaining in the continental United States for raising support. This ministry field is an excellent opportunity for cross-cultural training in preparation for those planning to serve abroad.
