For twenty-three years, I have embarked on an incredible journey under the guidance of God. Following graduation from college, I boldly left my small Kansas town and ventured into the bustling city of Los Angeles, where I served as a teacher at a Christian school. My six years there was a period of tremendous growth, as I was privileged to learn from experienced and dedicated colleagues who provided me with invaluable mentorship.

Then, I spent a year in Kansas before embarking on an exciting journey to South America, where I spent eight fruitful years. During my time there, I taught both missionary children and local Bolivian students and honed my teaching skills. It was an unforgettable experience that enriched me both personally and professionally. It was difficult to say goodbye to Bolivia, a place that held many special memories for me. However, I knew deep down that it was part of God's plan for me to return to the United States. Despite feeling a sense of sadness, I was certain that this was the right path for me to follow.

I arrived in McAllen, Texas, a year later, where I began teaching at Taylor Christian School alongside some of my former colleagues from Bolivia. After three years, the school's leadership recognized the need for a principal to assist the school director in managing daily responsibilities. After nine months of gathering support, I proudly returned to Taylor as the principal. I was sure God had prepared me for this new role and was eager to take on the challenge. However, as time passed, it became evident that God was leading Taylor in a different direction. Despite the impressive 74-year history of the school, it was necessary to close its doors.

In the following months, I sought guidance from the Lord about my next steps while working at the newly established Taylor Community Center library. During this period, I discovered a church in Michigan that needed a principal for their small school. After much prayer and consideration, I accepted the position at Brockway Christian Academy in Morley, Michigan.

I am excited as I embark on the journey set by God, eagerly anticipating the blessings and opportunities that will unfold for the BCA family and community.
