North America: U.S. Citizenship Tutor Internship
Description
Teach United States civics and history to adults (who meet pre-application requirements) to help them prepare for the United Stated Naturalization Test.
Opportunities
Teaching opens opportunities to build relationships and trust with those in the community and to also share about Jesus. In addition, it will be possible to minister while remaining in the continental United States for raising support.
Qualifications
A degree or certification to teach is not required. Applicants must enjoy building relationships in a one-on-setting or within a group. Teaching sites may be in a public area or private home. Teachers must be creative and flexible while leading adults through the study and the test interview process.

Length of Service
- Short-term: 1-2 weeks
- Mid-term: 1-12 months
- Long-term: 2 or more years
Ministry Description
While living in an urban, multi-cultural neighborhood, ministry must include being intentional about building relationships with immigrants and refugees. Do this while serving with other like-minded persons all while living within a walkable community.
