Tenwek: Neurosurgery Compassionate Fund
While Tenwek Hospital's fees are a fraction of the cost charged at most hospitals within Kenya, some of our patients do not have insurance or the cash necessary to cover their hospital bill. This can be devastating to patients and their families, as they may have to sell livestock or land or even sacrifice their children's schooling in order to pay their bill. Your donation to this fund helps to intervene in these cases of extreme need when finances threaten to get in the way of health.
