Texas/Mexico Border Ministries: Sports Equipment
Although soccer is currently the only sport offered at Taylor Community Center, as the Lord provides more volunteers and missionaries, the center plans to have basketball and volleyball programs. The soccer league reaches roughly 40 children and their families. About 80 percent of the kids are home schooled and from the neighborhood while 20 percent attend Taylor Christian School. With practices being held four times a week and games being played on Saturdays, soccer is an open door for reaching entire families for Christ in McAllen, Texas.
