We serve in missions because of the passion God has placed in our hearts to reach the lost with His love, grace, and mercy. God has impressed on our hearts the need to minister to young people and to those who wish to work with them. We are equipped to accomplish this through education and discipleship in a variety of settings. Young people are searching for the truth, and they are full of important, life-related questions.
Kristen: My missionary journey started in high school when I traveled to Mexico on short-term missions trips with my home church. God furthered my passion for missions through short-term trips back to Mexico and to Honduras and Paraguay. While I was a student at Indiana Wesleyan University, I was introduced to the ministries of World Gospel Mission. After I graduated, I served at WGM’s headquarters as the team and volunteer coordinator for three years. I now care for our young children while making our home available through the ministry of hospitality to serve young people through meals, accommodations, and fellowship times.
Viktor: I became a Christian during a summer English camp run by missionaries in Hungary. I was later called into full-time ministry, and God provided a way for me to study in the States. I received a BA in youth ministry from Circleville Bible College (now Ohio Christian University) and an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary (Kentucky). I am also an ordained elder in The Evangelical Church. I have a passion to reach the next generation of youth through education and discipleship in Hungary. I teach missions, youth ministries, and practical theology at European Nazarene College. I also mentor and disciple university students to reach their peers on their campuses and equip Hungarian church leaders to serve the needs of youth and families.
