THEME: Special Life Milestones

Going to School: Friends, Buses, Languages, Oh My!

Students everywhere know how hard the first day of school is after summer vacation. You have to get up early, find your locker, concentrate all day, and hope you have classes with your closest friends.

Imagine all that with the added stress of not knowing anyone and perhaps not even speaking the language. Such is the case for missionary kid Andrés Donahue, whose parents, Mark and Bev, have ministered in Bolivia and Paraguay.

Hear firsthand from Andrés about what it’s like to go to school in three different countries. After sharing the short study, encourage the kids to use the included prayer cards to write prayers for MKs around the world. Then, have them pray!
