What to Pray for Your Missionaries
At WGM, we've seen God respond to prayer in miraculous ways since 1910, such as stopping herds of elephants, keeping weapons from firing, and protecting missionaries from volcano eruptions. Our missionaries are sustained by prayer, and we’d love for you to join the movement. Below are some specific ways you can be praying for missionaries during the next six months.
JUNE | A HUNGER FOR GOD'S PRESENCE AND HIS WORD
You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1 (NIV)
JULY | STRONG COMMUNITIES AND DEEP RELATIONSHIPS
I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. 1 Corinthians 1:10 (NLT)
AUGUST | COURAGE TO FOLLOW WHERE GOD LEADS
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)
SEPTEMBER | WISDOM IN OUTREACH AND DECISION-MAKING

OCTOBER | FRUITFUL MINISTRY THAT MULTIPLIES

NOVEMBER | LASTING REST AND PEACE
So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Hebrews 4:9–10 (NLT)
