A little taste of Uganda from World Gospel Mission’s International Cookbook

Need to whip up a special treat or just looking for something refreshing on a hot summer day? This frulata has all those qualities, with a tropical twist. This recipe makes enough for two people to have a nice refreshing beverage. Of course, who wants to stop at just one? Cheers!


  • 1 cup mango juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream


Frulata: measure the mango juice

In go the mango juice and the pineapple juice. We just put ours in the same measuring cup. Your kitchen smells pretty tropical at this point.

Who doesn’t like ice cream? The vanilla really gives the drink a smooth creamy texture.

Time to blend all the yummy goodness together. This drink comes together quickly.
