Ministry Description
Our specialist mentoring program helps keep vulnerable kids off the streets and demonstrates to them the love of God and provides positive alternatives to them .We are looking for a person or a couple who would like to serve long term with vulnerable kids in Guatemala City and join a committed and caring team of people who believe God will transform this nation for His glory. The coordinator will assume responsibility for the day-to-day running and vision of the Mentoring Center. The Center will have a focus on music and art for high-risk children and youth and will be open Monday through Saturday. The coordinator will help shape the activities, coordinate volunteers, and help provide a quality program for vulnerable children in the mentoring program.
Types of Training Provided
We will provide initial induction and all the additional training the applicant(s) will need, including training in our mentoring methodology, child protection, and other courses to prepare you for this work.
