As a certified nurse practitioner and follower of Jesus, I am passionate about helping the “least of these”…the orphans and abandoned babies, teen girls who have survived abuse, and children of all ages suffering with debilitating medical conditions and illnesses, including HIV/AIDS.
The Least of These WGM project seeks to be the love of Jesus to these children who live in and around Nairobi in about twelve different homes or facilities. We work to alleviate illnesses, teach about and provide nutritional supplements and offer educational scholarships for children who would otherwise not be able to attend school.
My path to join the Least of These team has been remarkable. I became a follower of Jesus at an early age and after becoming a nurse, I felt a call to Africa. After completing my education to become a certified nurse practitioner, I first served as the head of a small medical clinic at a seminary in Lagos, Nigeria. I fell in love with the African people, and when the opportunity opened for me to join the Least of These team in Nairobi, Kenya, I was very excited.
Thank you for considering joining me and the Least of These team in extending the tangible, attentive love of Jesus to “the least of these” in Nairobi, Kenya.
