International Celebration of Missions 2010
100th Anniversary Celebration Indiana Wesleyan University (Marion, Indiana) June 24-27, 2010
"Together!"
Since the beginning of WGM in 1910, God has used people with different callings, myriad skills, diverse backgrounds, and of many nationalities and languages to bring the message of the gospel to the world. We have a long history of working together to bring the saving love of Jesus Christ to people who do not know Him. As we look back over the last 100 years, we simply stand in awe at how God has used His people to do His work.
This 100th anniversary celebration is a time of just that—celebrating what God has done and is doing in this world. Together with missions-active Christians from around the world, we will gather to celebrate God’s wonderful faithfulness and to be inspired to continue what started 100 years ago.
Amidst the great worship services and events during this Celebration, take time to meet and fellowship with each other. Laugh, listen to stories, and don’t be afraid to tell your own testimony of how you were called to missions. God may use you—even during these few summer days—to help someone understand His call on their heart.
May the Lord give us grace and strength as we look toward the next 100 years—together! |
